Liponic EG-1: why is it such a great humectant?
Liponic EG-1 is a humectant and lubricant that offers a smooth, non-greasy, luxurious feel.
Liponic EG-1 is the 26 mole ethoxylate of glycerin. It can be used as a skin conditioning agent and is compatible with anionic, nonionic and cationic surfactants and is stable over a broad pH range.
In addition to being an effective humectant, it is a good dispersing medium, viscosity modifier, plasticizer, foam modifier and an exceptional lubricant. Liponic EG-1 is a very good solubilizing agent for use in aqueous and anhydrous formulations.
