Carbopol Aqua SF-1 polymer acts as a rheology modifier and suspending agent. It is a lightly cross-linked acrylate copolymer. It provides exceptional clarity around neutral pH and desirable flow characteristics. It enhances pearlization appearance to improve the visual impact of pearlizing additives in surfactant-based systems. It offers increased suspending, stabilizing and thickening benefits through back-acid formulating. It is compatible with a large variety of non-ionic, anionic and amphoteric surfactants as well as wide variety of popular additives. It is used in facial cleansers, hair colors, hand soaps, intimate cleansers, mild cleansers, shampoos and wipes.
