Pemulen™ EZ-4U polymeric emulsifier by Lubrizol acts as an emulsifier, rheology modifier and suspending agent. It is a non-ethoxylated, acrylate-based polymeric emulsifier designed to provide a simpler processing solution with greater formulation flexibility as well as mildness making it suitable for sensitive skin applications. It offers robust emulsion stabilization, freedom from HLB constraints, stability over a wide pH range, and flexibility for cold or hot processability all at low use levels. It provides a light sensorial profile and robustness to stabilize sophisticated ingredients, such as challenging oil systems, actives, perfumes, UV absorbers, film formers, and optical and sensory enhancers. Enables formulation of water-resistant oil-in-water emulsions because formulations do not require the use of surfactants. It can emulsify the highest levels of oil, up to 50% by weight. Pemulen™ EZ-4U polymeric emulsifier is suggested for use in anti-aging products, body lotions/creams/gels, color cosmetics, eye area skin care products, facial care products, hand/foot care, sun care, wipes, etc.
