Nano Ageless Complex is a finished product composed of nanoencapsulated hyaluronic acid and clay minerals (magnesium aluminum silicate, zeolite and kaolin) that operates in two different and synergistic ways.

The first action, also called immediate tensor effect or “Cinderella effect”, takes place 90 seconds after application, and such action is due to the presence of clay minerals like magnesium aluminum silicate, responsible for tensor effect; zeolite, which provides a matte effect on the skin; and kaolin, which has antioxidant action and also the function of adjusting the products color. During this phase, it can be noti- ced wrinkle and expression lines reduction, this effect lasts from 4 to 6 hours. The durability of the “Cin- derella effect” may vary according to the facial expression of the user, i.e., on those with a strong facial expression, the effect may last less than on people with a subtler facial expression.

The second action, called long-term effect, is due to the presence of active components in the composi- tion. Hyaluronic acid is a linear, natural polymer belonging to the class of non-sulfated glycosaminogly- cans. This is the major component of the extracellular matrix of the dermis. Extrinsic skin aging or photo- aging is associated with changes in the expression of hyaluronic acid and its enzymatic metabolism. Hyaluronic acid is one of the most hygroscopic molecules in nature, which provides a high moisturizing capability. It offers antioxidant effect, acting as a free radical-sequestering agent, increasing the protec- tion of the skin regarding UV radiation and contributing to increase tissue repair capacity.

A study evaluating the efficacy of topical preparations (lotion, serum and cream) of nanoencapsulated hyaluronic acid with low molecular weight in the treatment of wrinkles, skin hydration and elasticity, in 33 women with an average age of 45 over a period of 8 weeks, clearly demonstrated a decrease of wrinkle depth (up to 40%) and increased skin hydration (up to 96%), also, the skin firmness and elasticity were increased significantly (up to 55%) after eight weeks, with satisfactory results since the second week.
